About The Happy Vegan Girl

The Happy Vegan Girl started as a way to answer one question honestly: what do you actually cook on a Tuesday when you're eating more plants and less of everything else? Not a highlight reel. Not a lecture. Just the recipes, the shortcuts, and the occasional kitchen disaster that taught us something.

We write for people at every stage: readers who went fully vegan years ago, people cutting back gradually, vegetarians curious about plant-based food, and anyone cooking a meal for a vegan family member for the first time. Nobody here has to hit 100% to belong.

What we cover

Easy vegan recipes, vegan breakfasts, plant-based lunches, vegan dinners, vegan desserts, and high-protein vegan meals, along with honest looks at cruelty-free products and restaurant guides when we've actually tried the place ourselves.

What we won't do

We won't tell you veganism cures disease, we won't call a product vegan without checking its ingredients and manufacturing information, and we won't publish nutritional advice we can't stand behind. If a recipe needs a nutrient callout, we include it instead of leaving it out.
